Drop off and Pick up

All of our parents are encouraged to watch their child’s progress on a regular basis. There are many achievements that your child will accomplish daily, and you being there as a parent to witness their immediate growth and development is essential for their self-esteem. However, we also understand that from time to time you may need to drop off your child and run errands. Please make sure that your child is on time for class as tardiness affects the overall structure of the class.

At Home Training

We encourage all students to practice at home under parental supervision.  If you have any questions about how to get the most out of at home training please see your Ninja Instructor.

Rules of the School

  • To become the best ninja you can be, always strive to be a good student. Be patient when learning challenging skills. When instructors correct you, they do so to help you improve. Learn to accept criticism gratefully.

  • A positive attitude gives positive results. Ninjas know how to control their emotions. Work hard to eliminate negativity and not lose your temper.  Always provide cheerful encouragement to your peers during training.

  • Make safety a top priority. Stay focused to avoid unnecessary accidents. Always follow instructions precisely and immediately. Be careful not to hurt your training partners.

  • Respect is one of the most important qualities of a ninja. One of the primary ways we demonstrate respect is by bowing to each other. But, there are many other ways to show respect, including:

    1. Be punctual. Arriving on time shows that you value the time of the instructor and the other students and is a great way to earn the respect of others.

    2. Stay for the entire class. If you must leave early, get permission from the instructor first.

    3. Exhibit good hygiene. Demonstrate respect for yourself by caring about your appearance. Keep yourself clean, your nails trimmed and your uniform neat.

    4. Communicate Respectfully. Speaking respectfully to instructors shows gratitude for their effort and knowledge.  Always say “Yes Ma’am, Yes Sir or No Ma’am, No Sir,” when responding to instructors. Be careful not to interrupt an instructor while they are speaking. Never argue with or condescend the instructors.

    5. Avoiding distractions. Loud noises, horseplay and interruptions take away from other student’s learning. Be careful not to cause distractions before, during or after class.

    6. Keeping the school clean. Make sure you store bags, water or other items neatly and out of the way. Throw away any trash and return any equipment to where you found it. Avoid using powdered chalk. Students may provide their own liquid chalk if needed.

    7. Maintain a respectful attitude. Ninjas should be compassionate, understanding and empathetic. Never be boastful. Do not tease or bully other students.

Finally, Ninjas learn to apply their lessons both in class and out of class. Always try to demonstrate respect, compassion, safety and a positive attitude in your daily life.
